Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Baobabs, elephants and the Tarangire River
After breakfast in Arusha, meet your Meshuko Safari guide and travel to Tarangire National Park. Spend the afternoon on a relaxed game drive through baobab country, looking for elephant herds, giraffes, zebras and the birdlife drawn to the river. Your guide sets the pace around the sightings rather than rushing through a checklist.

Day 2: Tarangire to Central Serengeti
Into the open plains of the Serengeti
Leave Tarangire after breakfast and continue through the highlands toward the Serengeti. The journey itself is part of the experience, with changing landscapes, a picnic lunch and wildlife viewing as you enter the park. Arrive in Central Serengeti for an afternoon game drive before settling into camp or lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Central Serengeti
Flexible game drives in the Serengeti
Enjoy a full day exploring the central Serengeti with your private guide. The plan remains flexible so you can spend more time where the wildlife is active. Watch for big cats, grazing herds, hyenas, jackals and the many smaller stories that make the plains so rewarding. You may choose a morning and afternoon drive or a longer day out with a picnic lunch.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Wildlife viewing en route to the crater highlands
Take a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, then travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The road climbs into cooler highlands and offers a new perspective after the wide Serengeti plains. Arrive in time to rest, enjoy the views and prepare for an early crater descent the next morning.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
Crater floor game drive and departure
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a final game drive in one of Tanzania’s most distinctive wildlife landscapes. The compact crater floor can offer sightings of buffalo, zebra, lion, hippo and, with luck, black rhino. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha for your onward plans or an overnight stay.
